We are building accommodation and studios.
A third property has become available so as to provide more studio and workshop space. We are currently working with other parties to secure this opportunity.
Festivals and events. Prior to Covid, the AoMA had hosted numerous events and been part responsible for many more. These include 'Rainbow Day - Port Fairy, many music concerts, Top Ten Music Awards. Have also been directly part of LGBTIQA.Org, Glastonbury Festivals, Mardi Gras, 3 Way FM, Caroline and many more.
The community radio station based in the city of Warrnambool have been amazing!
So many of our events have been publicized, also in hosting our home-produced comedy, local music and events. So we say a big 'Thank you' to 3 Way FM.
The AoMA want to broaden our reach right across Australia and having good foundation with 'media' all helps make good things happen.
We have utilized so many venues. that it would be wrong to focus on just one or two.
From the Reardon Theatre. Port Fairy Lecture Hall, St Brigid's, Crossley, Koroit Theatre, Drill Hall, scouts Hall Port Fairy, Fiddlers Green and quite a few more.
To be able to pull all the recourses available to us could help create a 'mega event' such as a brand new 'Fringe'.
Our mission is to provide a platform for artists to showcase their work and connect with other creatives in the community. We aim to promote diversity, creativity, and collaboration in the arts.
We host a variety of events throughout the year, including art exhibitions, laser shows, workshops, and performances. Our events are open to everyone and are a great way to get involved in the arts community.
Well before and during Covid, we were broadcasting comedy via radio, the only media available during lockdown.
The 'Food Fight' was infamous as a comedy protest to slow down people's attitudes in emptying the supermarkets,
This 'Fringe' event, along with 'Tina The Terrible', No smiling Day and many others have led to us thinking about creating a Fringe event for local and wider area.
Planning bigger, multimedia events does require a small army.
We can handle the admins, dots and some of the details, however. we still require a small army of talented people to bring their skills to the 'table'.
If you would like to 'stage' showcase what you have, then please help us build the 'stage' event. Priority and accommodation is on offer to those who can help place this on the map.
