AoMA Awards
The Academy of Modern Art, is all about helping emerging artists.
We will say it with passion, because passion is where we are coming from.
Prizes to be given to the artist who sends us the best artwork based on the theme 'Suprise us' ' as agreed upon by our curator team.
The award gains you prestige, plus an invite to be an honorary part of the curator team. We also offer additional media coverage to help support your career as an artist.
Our rules
The work submitted must be your own and be relevant to 'Suprise us'.
AI and computer art is not acceptable.
If you are under 18 we require a guardian or parent cover letter.
All Submission's must be received by the 25th of May 2024, by email to info@academyofmodernart.com.au
Artists will be asked to show at least 10 other works that they have done.
One submission per person.
Artists will be asked to submit a 'bio' about themselves and what this award would mean to them.
The winner will be asked to partake in an interview with media coverage.
Successful applicants who make it into round two will be notified by the 12 June 2024.
The curators or the Academy of Modern Art 'AoMA' can withdraw the competition at any time and for whatever reason.
The decision of the AoMA curators will be final.

We have helped to launch the careers of many talented artists, provided accessible cultural experiences to thousands of people, and contributed to the economic and social vitality of our region.
