'Spotlight month' and 'showcase'

We would love to look at you art.

We try to keep it as simple as possible, but ask for a few details that would really help us.

Each work needs to be less then 4 megs in file size.

A selfie photo is welcomed (but not compulsory).
No more then 5 images please.

Please send us your name, country or town.
Any links to Facebook or website to be included.

A short bit of 'blurb' / 'Bio' about yourself, 4 sentences is enough.

your art qualifications and exhibition history are of little interest to us, as all that counts is your 'art' and 'you'.

Philosophy:
We genuinely want to help talented artists to get ahead.

Some major galleries charge to submit art into 'in-house' exhibitions. While some galleries like to look like there taking submissions however rarely show any  'submitted' art.

It makes us very happy to receive a donation of $20 by way of a thank you, however, if you happen to be a philanthropist please get in touch so we can roll out the red carpet for you! Donations large or small, it all helps keep us afloat.

To our knowledge no other gallery in the world offers an active 'monthly spotlight' with ultra fast viewing program. Our reputation matters along with the standard of 'art' that we except.

 Of all the 'prestigious' academy's we know, no other academy at this time offers your own webpage with links to Facebook and a link to your own website. 

We hope you appreciate what we are doing and being Australian based, see it as our bit of kindness to the world that we offer this to emerging and established artists, where ever you may be. We, the staff of the 'Academy of Modern Art' wish you every success.

We can not promise to 'host' anything or part of anything, and only work that 'hits our spot' will be considered for entry.

We don't offer feedback, or judgement as all art is in the eye of the beholder, so our opinion is merely our own.

All work or text submitted is aimed by default at being uploaded onto our Academy of Modern Art .com.au website. If you want anything not uploaded please submit it separately and clearly marked as 'do not upload'.

Our decision is final, however we will listen to any appeal, but it's our decision.

If we show your work or bio, we have the right to remove it with out warning and may well do so before or after the monthly spotlight has 'timed out'.

The website can go off line with out warning, and no liability or part refund can be excepted should this happen.

We reserve the right to edit, cut short a 'Bio', or reduce the file size of an artwork, as we see fit.

If you wish to remain 'seen' on this website after the 'spotlight month', then  a small donation may be asked to help cover our costs. Should this be the case then we will give you proper notice before hand.

We are not liable for any loss, damages or copyright concerns as a result of our showing your work. All work submitted is offered with the understanding that we except no liability for any loss, however caused.
