Martin Sullivan. AKA; A.
Smartzie

Dyslexic artist, Smartzie aka Martin Sullivan.
What a joy it is too make others happy !
I love art, at Christmas and as a child my parent's always gave me
coloured pastels to draw with, I got to love the smell of pastels and the overwhelming joy of drawing. Playing
piano was my other love, I struggled badly with being taught a 'techicnal' note, however
I just played on regardless.
My London school was horrible and dyslexia was totally unknown. The bully's
of South London were dumped in the low grade mix as me and they made sure that few would survive.
I'm still waiting for an apology, but I guess ill never see that.
At school. I was a told not to doodle so by 13 my
art was forcefully abandoned, however my school piano playing was considered OK. So that became
my 'mental' rock.
To this day, and still without piano lessons I play directly from the heart, I
do 3 to 4 public performances a week. Regarding the artwork, I re-kindled my
'desire' and now after a 40 years gap I came alive again.
Now, A Soap-box moment...
To my knowledge no one paints like I do. Top
main-stream gallery's seem unsure what to make of it, maybe some are not wanting to
take a risk, or remain in 'pay-packet' safe mode, ... or possibility ... another
reason.
My opinion is: I'm guessing there 'connected friends' are always heading
to the top of the artwork substitution queue so no body else really stands a chance. Try
submitting some art yourself, I kept all the e-mails and the follow up excuses from the CEO,s (like, Oh,
...our e-mail was not working!) and now have some inside gossip, so pretty sure im
right.
Docco producer Milchel Moore would love this
one !
Forgive me, im rambleing...
So, I thought, In my own way, I can solve
this,
I bought the 'Academy of Modern Art', not to promote myself, but to give
everyone a fair go. So I ask Aussies and artists around the world,
please please support this. (yes I am saying this from the
guts!)
Paid for by me, so no .Gov backsides to pamper too, no business buddy
mates on the golf course. We the curators and I just look at your art, read
your bio, and hopefully just 48 hours later, come back with a very polite yes or very
polite no. Certificated are availaable and spotlight showing on offer.
To date we have helped many 100,s of artists get ahead.
So, Here is my personal art, hope you love, or hate it (;)
it is 'unique', lets see ...
Cracked Earth

Cracked Earth. 450 mm x 605mm $3000.
A stunning peace of work, the detail is exceptional.
To reproduce this work be almost imposable, so much was needed to get this right. I would not even
try a do this twice.
The painting represents a cracked and damage land. However don't be too disappointed in
the description as it is a wonderful detailed work of art, This would hang as a work of beauty and an artwork you
may never tire of. It is simply stunning.
A close up of Cracked Earth. ... the 'fashon police' said, we should not have cracks in a
painting, what utter rubbish! The cracks are under painted in different colours and are everything in this
stunning work. Enjoy.

Sausage Sizzle

As described a sizzling sausage. Below is an example of the incredible
detail.

Sizzle 450mm x 605 mm $1000
This is 'Masterpeice'

This extra large work is simply stunning, based on a colour pallet reflecting that of
Monet, the work has details that would be almost imposable to replicate.
Masterpiece 2170mm x 900mm $6500
Below are some detail shots of Masterpiece. enjoy.

Thank you.
